Lucy Mae

I went into steady labor around 11:00pm on April 30th, and we headed to the hospital around 4:00am on May 1st.
Here's the last official pregnant picture:
I was progressing well, and was given some Pitocin around 8am.
By 9:45 I was ready to push, and three pushes later our second beautiful daughter was born, arriving at 9:56am!
Our sweet Lucy weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long.
Dark hair, deep blue eyes.

Ava calls her "Woocy", and gets sad when little sister cries. Over all, Ava seems to be adjusting quite well. Granted, she does get jealous and naughty, but for the most part things have been a smooth transition with being home.

We love having two daughters!

Welcome to our family, Miss Lucy.
Part of Psalm 1, your "birthday Psalm", reads:
"Blessed is the man (woman)
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his (her) delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he (she) meditates day and night."
This is our prayer for you, Lucy, that you will be a woman who loves God, and wholly gives your life and heart to Him.
